Women and Men in song and music - Lemon Tree 6th March

Lemon TreeTo mark International Women’s day, the Saturday 6th March lunchtime performances at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree will focus on the relationships between women and men. The volunteers from SC&T and the session group Scotch Broth will be joined by two young musicians from Harlaw Academy as part of the “pathways to performance” initiative. The joys, triumphs, woes and troubles of human relationships will be explored through songs and tunes ancient and modern.  Doors open at 12 noon with the performance from 1 to 2 pm.

Scotch Broth are a group of musicians who meet regularly on Sunday evenings at St Peter’s Heritage Hall in Culter. Adults who like to play Scottish music at an intermediate level are made welcome.
