Join the fantastic Jen Clark for this Scots Song class. Suitable for all singers.
Jen grew up in Aberdeen deeply immersed in the rich singing and music traditions of North East Scotland. Her early days touring and recording with the Battlefield Band inspired a love of inspirational arrangement within the tradition and she has had the privilege of working with many outstanding musicians and singers.
She has guested at many traditional music festivals in the UK, Europe and Australia and has a long history of working with people to bring, what Stanley Robertson called The Maisey, to their individual and collective voice.
Some projects include being the musical director of Sangtream, a large Scots folk choir in
Edinburgh for three years, composer and director of the cultural opening of the Adelaide International Tattoo, Australia, and countless workshops, classes and individual sessions. She has very recently returned to Scotland after 5 years in Australia.
Price for the term is: £53 - this can be paid in one lump sum when you sign up, or in 2 monthly instalments - you can choose your preference when you sign up.
