TUTOR: Heather Macleod
Heather has over thirty years’ experience, working as a professional singer, vocal coach, choir-leader and producer, trading as LEOD MUSIC full-time since 1998.
Her glowing reputation for fine vocal arrangements, brought along a 13 yr period with harmony powerhouse, The Bevvy Sisters, and has led her to work with many artists of note, arranging for recordings and live backing vocal sections and is now a key element of her work with choirs, with whom she now furthers that collaborative work.
‘Heather has a relaxed, fun method of leading, there is nothing technical, fussy or formal.’
She formed the Soundhouse Choir in Edinburgh in 2016 and has worked with countless other groups in a wide variety of settings.
At present she also leads Inch House and Hibs Community Choirs and teaches vocals 1-2-1 for Edinburgh and Aberdeen Universities with BMus Performance students.
‘Singing with Heather brings out the best in me!’
