Meg Findlay traditional musician

Born and brought up in the North East of Scotland, I have lived in Stonehaven for more than 30 years. Prior to retiring from my role as MBA Administrator at RGU in 2018, I spent many years working in Learning & Development in the Oil & Gas Industry. I have been involved in Stonehaven Folk Club and Stonehaven Folk Festival since their inception in the late 1980s and am still active in both organisations. My first SC&T class was Guitar. I then moved to the Instrument Performance Group and performed at several events, including the visit of the French group from La Rochelle in 2019. During lockdown, I joined the beginners’ Whistle Class on Zoom and have been attending classes since 2020. I am a member of the Marketing and Classes sub-groups.
