I'm Barry Carroll, a self-taught musician from Ireland, now living in Aberdeen for the past 10 years. I've been playing music for nearly 20 years and can play guitar, mandolin, bass, drums, and harmonica, but my true passion is teaching guitar. I run my own business, One Lad Music Academy, where I make learning guitar accessible, fun, and focused on performance. I love Irish and Scottish folk music, and I play guitar and mandolin in a band called The Derry Girls. A huge fan of Van Halen, I'm also an aspiring social media guitar teacher, with a small but growing fan base.
