Guitar

Pete McCallum

SC&T is delighted to welcome back singer and song writer Pete MacCallum to teach the "Guitar for Singers" course this autumn. Pete is a founder member of SC&T and spent many years teaching guitar accompaniment and mixed instrument courses. He has a love of both traditional and somewhat more contemporary Scottish folk songs. As a purveyor of the “Bothy Jazz” genre of music and with a love of a good going chorus song, his performances take you on a journey from his Argyllshire west coast roots to Aberdeenshire’s rich singing traditions with perhaps just a wee bit of the comic verse and a puckle o’ fine stories thrown in along the way.
