Senga is a fiddler and dance caller. A founder member of Hogtie Ceilidh Band around 20 years ago, she now plays piano with Ceilidh Fling. Coming from a classical background, singing and playing piano as a child and teenager, she didn't pursue her family influences in traditional Scottish music until later in life. Senga followed a career in social work, before managing a local charity and later worked at RGU School of Social Studies, developing practice learning. She has been actively involved in SC&T over the last few years, both as a participant and Board member.
