Shannon Stevenson started playing violin through the Suzuki method aged nine and began studying Scottish fiddle as a beginner herself at college on the Isle of Uist. Whilst studying Community Music at Aberdeen University, Shannon learned the North East of Scotland Fiddle Style which allowed her to compete at competitions across the country and play at King Charles’ Birkhall Ball in 2018.
Shannon believes that it is never too late to start an instrument and is very excited to share her knowledge and experience with everyone.
